I am a mixed-race Black woman — Irish, African American, and Caribbean and I carry all of that in my body and in this work. My ancestors survived colonization, famine, displacement, and slavery.
Groundlessness is not abstract to me. It is inherited. And building inner ground — for myself, and now alongside others — is, in the most literal sense, the work of my lineage.
I hold a PhD in Education with a focus on Early Human Development and attachment. Long before I became a coach, I spent years studying how human beings develop the capacity to feel safe: how we learn, from our earliest relationships, whether the world is a place we can trust, and whether we are people worthy of being held. That research lives in me. When I talk about inner safety, I'm not speaking in metaphors. I'm speaking from a deep understanding of what safety actually is, where it comes from, and what it takes to build it, especially when it was never fully given to you.
I came to ontological coaching the same way most of my clients come to me: through my own season of groundlessness. When the structures I had trusted fell away, I didn't find a method. I found a way of being. And that changed everything.

Me, in the absolute thick of it.
Now, as an ontological coach, I walk alongside those of us navigating rupture, transition, betrayal, or deep uncertainty. Ontological coaching works with how you see and relate to yourself and the world. I don't rush you past the pain. I help you find your footing within it.
Because when you feel safe inside yourself, you don't have to grasp for stability. You don't have to perform for approval. You don't have to rebuild your life from fear.
Together, we cultivate the inner ground that supports every choice, every step, every day.
I work from an anti-racist, justice-rooted lens, not as a disclaimer, but as a foundation. This space is intentional. The systems that have failed people are real. The harm is real. You don't have to translate your experience here.
Who am I on any given day? I am reflecting, writing, and empowering. Connecting with the natural world. Participating in mutual aid. Repairing harm. Street fighting for transformative justice. Defying gravity, still.
And I am still figuring things out. Still unlearning the eldest daughter habit of putting my needs last. Still learning to leave sooner, to stop trying to convince people who were never going to choose me, and to trust that I deserve goodness without the effort. Still choosing, day by day, to stop performing for people who were never going to meet me there.
Investment.
My commitment to doing my part to create a world where each of us is wholeheartedly supported is reflected in my pricing structure.

Is coaching really for me, though?
Coaching puts your own wisdom into action.
Coaching isn't therapy, consulting, or mentoring, though it draws on the spirit of all three. What makes it different is this: you already have the answers. My role isn't to fix you or prescribe a path. It's to help you hear yourself more clearly, trust what you find, and move from that place.
People come to me when they're done performing stability they don't feel. When they've been the strong one for too long. When something broke open — a role, a relationship, a belief about how the world works — and they're ready to build from something more real.
If that's where you are, coaching might be exactly what you need.
Am I the coach for you?
You might be my person if you're navigating a transition that's asked more of you than you expected. If a system, a relationship, or a role you trusted has failed you. If you're done rebuilding your life from fear, and ready to build it from something steady.
I work especially well with people who are already self-aware but stuck. Who think deeply but can't quite move. Who are tired of holding it together on the outside while something quieter inside waits to be heard.
I prioritize accessibility and bring an anti-racist, justice-rooted lens to everything I do. This is not a neutral space. It's an intentional one. You deserve to be fully seen here.
Let's find out if we're a fit. The clarity session is free, unhurried, and yours.
